About

"What moves me is the search for joy, inspiration from what surrounds us and living more slowly in a world full of urgency. The rediscovery of traditions, artisanal knowledge, the morality and magic of legends and myths. The creative minds that expand the world of possibilities. The reunion with nature, which gives me back a sense of belonging.”

Verónica Silva (b. 1990 in Santarém) is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Lisbon area. She began her artistic journey in 2020, when she embarked on a mentorship with a Spanish artist, an experience that unlocked her creative journey. Since then, she has been symbolically expressing her experiences and emotions through figurative art and illustration, deeply influenced by the natural world. Self-taught and curious by nature, she has been continually refining her practice, always seeking to evolve as an artist.

Since 2024, Verónica has embraced art with body and soul, dedicating herself entirely to artistic production. Inspired by Impressionism, her work balances an introspective and emotional narrative – reflecting on joy, being present, and the appreciation of craftsmanship and the creative process – with the visual interpretation of the world around her.
